A family business, in every sense.

Three generations. Over 50 years. The same value throughout. AGD Duff and Partners was established in 1973 by Mary and Alexander Duff Sr., who began by subletting a single filleting table and working split shifts to fillet and smoke haddock. Mary is still part of the business today. You will find her in the shop most days, and that says everything about what this company is built on.

In 1990, their sons Paul and Zander took over the running of the company and steadily grew it into the full processing and wholesale operation it is today. Now their sons, Hayden and Owen, are part of the business too, working alongside a team of 60 plus people who know the seafood trade inside out.

In 2012, we launched BlueFlag Seafoods, our local supply division serving restaurants, hotels, and fish-and-chip shops across the North East of Scotland. Our fresh fish shop, right next to the factory in Bridge of Don, is open to the public five days a week and stocked daily. We supply customers across the UK and into Europe, but we have never lost sight of where we started. A family, a filleting table, and a genuine passion for quality seafood.
